Hope Through Action is a charity which aims to help South African communities with social problems such as drug related violence and crime, and high levels of HIV, unemployment and poverty. It plans to do this through the medium of soccer and is in the process of building it’s first football stadium in Mbekwini: a township 60km North of Cape Town near the city of Paarl.

The stadium will bring the community together, provide an activity for the ‘problem’ demographic of young men, and also give a platform for local authorities and charities to educate particularly concerning health matters.

I designed the logo to be simple and bold. The large areas of colour help create a strong identity for the charity and the abstracted ball and line icon is very versatile.
