This is a piece which maps my final project's territory of collecting. As each of the parts of the project I am interested in can link to any of the others, I decided to create twenty five cards which linked in many ways. The cards hold shapes and patterns on one side, which overlay to link the cards horizontally, vertically, and diagonally into sets and groups: a strong theme in collecting. On the reverse are the words of my territory.

It functions both as an illustration of where my project is situated (like a map), and can act as an idea generator by selecting sets of cards which seem to be linked aesthetically and reversing them to create a new group of words.
